Norma brings such a wealth of experience to her work with clients, which in large part, is due to the wisdom of her nearly two decades in the counseling field and her travels throughout life. As a professional in many states, Norma has worked in child welfare and foster care while in PA and in the mental health system while in Illinois. Additionally, she provided case management and counseling services to female teens, adult women and families who were experiencing a crises pregnancy at a Christian agency in Chicago. Prior to moving back to Indiana, she lived in Minnesota where she facilitated outpatient counseling to individuals as well as engaged and marriage couples.

For 34 years, Norma was a member of the Armed Forces. She served on active duty with the US Army for 8 years and 4 months. Her remaining time she was a soldier in the US Army Reserve where she served two active duty tours. One tour of duty involved her being assigned to the Stabilizing Forces (SFOR) while stationed in Bosnia. The most recent tour of duty lasted over five years when she served in the Operation Enduring Freedom event.

Norma has a strong desire to help married couples improve their relationship, with a personal and professional passion to work with military personnel and their families. She serves to help them reunite and reconnect as they strive to maintain healthy relationships. She is a trained STAR Behavioral Health Provider, working with military families. Additionally, she has expertise in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety and mood disorders as well as grief issues.

Norma is a Social Work graduate of West Chester University and has a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College Graduate School. Norma holds a license in the state of Indiana as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

Norma provides clinical supervision to associates seeking licensure hours and graduate level interns who are pursuing Master's degrees in Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, or Mental Health Counseling.

Faith guides Norma's work with clients and she is open to integrating biblical principles with her counseling approach for those who have that desire.
