
Nikki Barnes, MSW, LSW, LCAC

Nikki first joined Kenosis in Aug 2010 to complete her graduate study through
IU School of Social Work, earning her Masters in Social Work in May 2011.
Nikki
believes in empowering her clients to realize and celebrate their strengths. She is a skilled individual who
works well with clients of all ages, but is exceptionally skilled in working with children and adolescents.
Nikki is a compassionate and genuine individual who is committed to helping her clients attain their personal
goals.
She has 11 years of experience working with
individuals, children, and families. Additionally, Nikki is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and
Reprocessing) through the EMDR Institute. Nikki is skilled in working with individuals who are survivors of
trauma and believes that healing is possible at any stage of life. EMDR has been used successfully with many
issues such as trauma and abuse, grief, anxiety disorders, addictions, attachment/bonding issues, and depression
to name a few.
Nikki will be working out of Kenosis North in
Carmel. She and her husband,
Dave, have two energetic young children. They live in Zionsville and attend Eagle
Church.
