Laura Ferguson,
MA
Intake Coordinator, Psychotherapist
Laura believes that people are communal beings who experience
healing through others. Because of this, she cultivates strong client
relationships, which is vital for recovery. She believes that individuals
need to be balanced between family, work and community and she strives to help individuals become more connected in
all of these spheres. She seeks to understand and help the client to clarify their values, prioritize their goals
and set boundaries in their lives.
Laura received her Master of Arts in Counseling at Western Seminary
in
Portland, Oregon in 2010. She joined Kenosis in 2011 as an intern and
serves as Intake Coordinator and Associate.
Laura feels honored to be a part of the process of growth in her
clients’
lives. Her areas of clinical interest and specialty include depression,
anxiety, co-dependency, body image/weight management, career counseling, and working with pastors and their
families. Being a pastor’s kid, she personally and professionally knows the blessings and burdens of ministry
