Kenosis Counseling Center, Inc. was just a vision when Dave began working out of our home in March 1998. Our mission has always been to serve more . . . over the years, we have been honored to do just that. In April 2006, we started a new chapter in our professional lives, moving to our current location at 1678 Fry Road, Ste D in Greenwood, IN. This move has allowed us to serve more clients as well create and develop Kenosis into a community-based private practice and a training center for graduate interns and colleagues.

It is truly amazing how quickly time passes and how much healing we are privileged to witness in our clients day after day. We truly pride ourselves in being a community-based private practice, serving the clinical, coaching and training needs of the southside Indianapolis and surrounding communities. Considering the economic struggles of our nation and community, we are pleased to have the ability to provide adjusted fees and reduced fees to clients in financial need by working with our graduate interns from IU School of Social Work, Indiana Wesleyan and other academic institutions. As a result, motivated clients are not turned away – all are given an opportunity for emotional health and wellness.

As always, Kenosis Counseling Center, Inc. stands ready, willing and able to assist our clients. It is not only a pleasure but a distinct privilege to have earned the trust of thousands of clients throughout the southside of Indianapolis over the past decades. Each Associate and Intern pledge the highest level of care, concern and energy to each of our clients on their personal, emotional and spiritual journeys. We look forward to having Kenosis continue to serve your mental health needs today and in the many years to come. Our clinical team has a vast range of specialty areas which includes depression and anxiety, men’s and women’s issues, trauma treatment and EMDR along with our work with gifted children and families with special needs. Counseling is available for individuals, couples, families and groups.

Strongly networked with many organizations, "See a need, serve a need" is the foundation of Kenosis as community-based private practice, which continues to grow through our core value of service to the community.
